Os utilizadores da ABI/Inform encontrarão um novo separador na interface que permite, encontrar e filtrar por informação especializada como market research articles , industry reports, company information e annual reports, country reports, commodity reports, dissertations, e working papers. Este separador inclui também ligações de acesso rápido, que permitem aos utilizadores rapidamente filtrar por determinados tipos de conteúdo como análises SWOT, quotas de mercado, tendências e antevisões de industria, perfis pessoais de CEO’s e entrevistas.

Esta funcionalidade está pronta a ser activada para todos os interessados.
Os Utilizadores em cada instituição deverão aceder ao Ecrã de Preferências do Google Scholar e seleccionar a respectiva instituição
No exemplo abaixo foi seleccionada a colecção da Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto.
A designação de cada instituição a ser associada às contas pessoais será indicada pela Lusodoc depois da primeira actualização.

A partir de 28 de Junho será implementada a possibilidade de aceder ao texto integral nas bases de dados ProQuest a partir do serviço Google Scholar, para o que as Insitituições necessitam de ter conta registada no Google Scholar (por IP’s ou ID).
As instituições que desejem activar este serviço no lado da ProQuest devem contactar a Lusodoc, para os necessários ajustes à configuração da conta.

Project COUNTER released version 3 of its Code of Practice with a due date for adoption of the end of August 2009. On July 1st,we will switch from version 2 to version 3 for the ProQuest platform. COUNTER 3 compliance will now identify federated search usage and allow reporting via the SUSHI protocol.
The reporting structure will change slightly to conform with the new COUNTER standard. COUNTER 3 reporting for the CSA Illumina and Chadwyck-Healey platforms is scheduled to be available in August.

Non-Periodical Browse – a new Browse tab allowing users of ProQuest Nursing & Allied Health Source to quickly surface valuable non-periodical content such as evidence based resources and tools, reports, videos, and study paths.
